Understanding, Preserving,
Sharing the Puerto Rican

Our Parades and Festivals conference is less than one month away. If you work in cultural organizations, or are interested in cultural preservation, we invite you to join us for this unique opportunity.

Puerto Rican parades, festivals and other cultural organizations have a direct connection to the community and as such they can play an integral role in using their /our reach as an educational platform. Puerto Rico, Puerto Ricans Parades and Festivals is a conference co-sponsored by the Center for Puerto Rican Studies at Hunter College, CUNY, the National Puerto Rican Day Parade and other partners to examine the scale and impact of the Puerto Rican crisis on the stateside community and the rest of the nation, and to asses strategies to launch more concerted efforts in response to such challenges.
