Nov. 16  Celebrate a Baseball Pioneer


Before Báez and Lindor, before Igor and Pudge, before Clemente, there was Hiram Bithorn, the first Puerto Rican to play in the major leagues. Join author Jorge Fidel López and commentator Julio Pabón, President of Latino Sports, at a talk about Bithorn's contribution to the sport and to our history. At Hunter College's Faculty dining room. Author Olga Jiménez de Wagenheim rescues the stories of the women who gave up their freedom in search of freeing their homeland. She will be joined by commentators Katherine T.
